It’s a good job we have so many players as we had two Year 5/6 girls football tournaments on at the same time in different places!
One squad travelled to Wadebridge, to play in the County Qualifiers. They faced some tough competition, winning three, drawing two and narrowly losing one. We won’t know where they finished until tomorrow but we do know they should feel very proud of themselves.
The other squad went to Treviglas to compete in the NSN girls football tournament. The girls played brilliantly and scored lots of goals, they made it to the final where they faced Summercourt. They finished 2nd overall! Amazing!
Well done to everyone involved and a shout out to all of our parent volunteers who helped transport our players.
