We were very excited to see tweets from the author of Nim's Island: Wendy Orr.
Some of our pupils were inspired, on World Book Day, to recreate the story in our 'Book in a Jar' competition.
Our Yr. 5 and 6 pupils thoroughly enjoyed their online author/illustrator visit by Alasdair Beckett-King & Claire Powell hosted by the UK Literacy Association. They can’t wait to start reading their signed copies of ‘Montgomery Bonbon: Murder at the Museum’! This is the first of many author events we have planned across the year for all classes!
